RESERVATION POLICIES

Acceptance of our Reservation Terms and Conditions will be necessary before we can finalize a reservation.

Our Bishop Victorian Hotel policies include, but are not limited to, the following:

Cancellations

All cancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior to your date of arrival or you will be responsible for the room charges.

If your reservation is related to a wedding, group booking, special festival or event, you must cancel 30 DAYS in advance.

Credit Card Information

A credit card on file will be required as the GUARANTEE for your reservation.  If a credit card is not provided, a cash deposit of one night’s rent or 50% of the total (whichever is greater) will be required as the GUARANTEE for your reservation.

General Information

Arrival Time

Check-in time is 3:00 PM or later. 

Check-Out Time

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check out service is available at an additional charge.

Parking

In Port Townsend, parking is often difficult to find. The Bishop Victorian offers parking for our registered guests in the lot beside our hotel.

Visitors

Guest rooms are to be used by registered guests only. All additional persons must be registered at the front desk and a $15.00 charge may apply to additional person(s) 12 years or older.

Pet Policy

The Bishop Hotel is dog friendly! We invite you to bring your furry family member; no matter the size, weight, or breed. We offer a dog-approved, no-fuss check-in (and often a scratch behind the ear!).

Dog Fees

$25 per dog, per night

Dog-Friendly Suites

In consideration of other guests without a canine companion, or those with allergies, we maintain several suites designated just for dogs and their families. We offer the following five suites to guests traveling with a pooch or two:

Suite 11 – 2nd Floor King Suite

Suite 14 – 2nd Floor Queen Suite

Suite 16 – 2nd Floor Family Suite

Suite 17 – 2nd Floor Deluxe Queen Suite

Suite 25 – 1st Floor Family Suite

Dog Policies

A pet fee per dog applies, and we’ll ask you to abide by a few additional guidelines during your time with us. If you need help arranging a dog-sitter or dog-walker, we’ll be glad to assist you. Stop by the front desk to pick up a walking map highlighting dog-friendly areas/dog parks.

Canine Welcome Basket

To ensure your dog is as comfy as possible, we also provide our Canine Companion Welcome Basket for use during your stay which includes:

+ Comfy dog bed

+ Outdoor-friendly dog toys

+ Treats

+ Water & food bowls

+ Potty bags for cleanup

+ Towels for muddy paws & wet coats

The Bishop Victorian is a dog-friendly hotel and Port Townsend is a dog-friendly town.  Your well-behaved dog will be greeted as a welcome guest; but be sure to check with any stores and restaurants for dog-specific rules before entering.

Upon arrival, you will be given a map with walking locations as well as dog sitters, groomers, etc.  If you require additional information regarding your pet, please inquire at the front desk.

You can plan your trip to Port Townsend with your pooch ahead of time!  Follow this link to a list of walkable areas to stretch your legs as well as pet-related services in the area.

Smoke-Free Property

All rooms and all common areas are designated non-smoking. Please adhere to the hotel smoking regulations. A surcharge of $200 will be added to the bill to cover commercial cleaning of rooms in which guests choose to smoke.

Dog Policy

  1. A pet fee per dog per night will be applied to your reservation.Dogs must be registered with the front desk.
  2. In consideration of other guests and staff, dogs may not be left in a room unattended, at any time.
  3. Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet and will be responsible for the repair and/or replacement of any items stained or damaged by their pets; Please keep dogs off the bed and furnishings.
  4. Dog bowls are provided for convenience during your stay; please do not use hotel dishes.
  5. Do not bathe your dog in hotel bathtubs or showers; doggie towels are provided for muddy paws so please make sure your dog is clean upon entering the hotel.
  6. Dogs that bark repeatedly or display aggressive behaviors will be required to leave.
  7. Dogs are allowed in the lobby and in Suites 11, 14, 16, 17, and 25 and only and on the first and second floors of the hotel.
  8. Dogs are to be leashed and accompanied by an owner when not in their hotel room, this includes hotel common areas and grounds.
  9. Please pick up after your dog does his or her business; we’ve provided Dogi-Potty bags for this purpose and additional bags are available if needed.

10 Any repairs or extraordinary cleaning because of your dog may result in you being charged a damage fee in addition to the per dog per day fee required at check-in.

11 Any violation of the above policies may result in a minimum $150.00 charge.
